Astoria's Bohemian Hall continues to prosper,
The Czech and Slovak schools have more pupils

September 2007

There is some renovation of the Bohemian Hall & Park in progress.

The Czech and Slovak schools have more pupils - they will sing & dance on March 23 P.M. at the Eastern celebration.

Financially the gross income over last year is 23% higher or $4 045 449; gross profits $2 362 095; (inasmuchas a non-for-profit, the tax for business part paid $410 000), NET PROFIT in 2007 $757 918 as reported by the Treasurer Libuse Kral.
(Editorial question: why did we have to sell the Czech National Hall on East 73rd Street to the Czech Republic for $1 - refurbishing still not finished.)
